Nutrition Planning

Nutritional coaching is geared towards people who want to understand how food impacts our daily health. Or would like guided meal planning for ease of meal prep and/or general health reasons.  This service is ideal for someone who wants to understand the importance of nutrition for better health and wants support to stay accountable. The plan provides a schedule for calories, macronutrients, and meals to achieve your goals.

Program Details

 

  • Initial nutrition assessment
    • This will be a detailed intake call to help us learn more about you so we can create a plan just for you.  What do you like to eat? Do you currently work out? Have plans to? Do you have any allergies? Special dietary concerns? Etc.
  • Custom meal plan with calories considerations and macro guidelines.

    • Everybody becomes healthier in a different way.

    • A plan customized to you is the best plan to help you reach your goals

  • Detailed meals and foods to eat.

    • Knowing what to eat and how much is one of the major keys to healthier living

    • Specific times to eat these meals, based on your schedule and your goals

  • Shopping list

    • Know exactly what you need to buy and how much.

    • Eliminate the frustrating, wasteful and intimidating experience at the grocery store.

  • Online logging of consumed nutrition via My Fitness Pal 

  • Nutrition strategy and meal plan adjustments

    • Your program is reviewed regularly and could be adjusted once if necessary

  • Body stat and progress tracking

    • Track and view changes in your weight, fat, body composition, and other visual changes in the custom application

  • Accountability check ins by the health coach to review eating habits

    • Follow-up calls and texts to help support your progress

 

Program Steps

 

Once your set-up for the app, you'll take your starting stats, such as weight and body fat percentage, which we'll use to track your progress over time. You'll be able to see this progress in the app, via the charts and other tracking information on your personalized dashboard. These stats are updated once a month.

 

Next, we set-up your nutritional consultation. This consult takes around 30-60 minutes to complete. During the session, we discuss your goals, review information provided in your intake documents, and begin to delve into why you have been unable to achieve your goals. The exact topics covered vary based on your goals and needs.

 

Dependent on the nature of your goals, you will complete steps that allow us to create your nutrition plan, possibly including tasks such as nutrition tracking for up to a week without any intervention - yet.

 

We have another nutrition session, during which we continue the conversation started in the first meeting as well as review any new information, such as the nutrition tracking. Like the first session, this discussion takes about 30-60 minutes. At the end, we provide you with steps to keep moving toward your goal. After the conversation, we begin to create your custom nutrition plan and deliver the same to you via email.

 

A final phone conversation occurs, during which we discuss the nutrition plan, and continue talking about previously covered topics, or new ones if applicable. After this final call, you still have two weeks to ask questions via messages.
